Is your organization a non-profit?
Yes, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

What is the cutoff date for age requirements?
The cutoff date for all age groups is August 1st of the registration year.

What are the age requirements per division (using cutoff date 9/1)?
Peewee: 6 & 7 years old
Freshman: 8 years old
Sophomore: 9 years old
Junior: 10 years old
Senior: 11 & 12 years old

What are the maximum weight restrictions per division?
Peewee: 125 pounds
Freshman: 135 pounds
Sophomore: 145 pounds
Junior: 155 pounds
Senior: 170 pounds

How long is the season?
The regular season runs from mid- July through the last week of October. Playoffs are directly following. With the Superbowl the first weekend in November.

What equipment is provided by the Colts?
The Colts provide helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, game pants, chin strap and mouth guards are provided but optional.
**Parents are responsible for practice gear and cleats for your players.**

Do we have any other financial or volunteer responsibilities?
Yes. We have a mandatory fundraising raffle during our homecoming week.
Yes. You volunteering is needed throughout the season.

When and where do you practice?
The Colts practice at Frankie Carter park located off 2351 in Friendswood.
**The first two weeks of practice will be Monday thru Friday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm**
After the first game, practices will be Monday, Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Where do you play games?
We play our home games at Friendswood High School stadium located on 702 Greenbriar Ave, Friendswood, TX 77546
We are apart of Texas Intercity Football Incorporated, and although we play half of the season at home. Some traveling maybe necessary; however, no more than 50 minutes away.

What time are the games?
Peewee: 8:30 am
Freshmen: 9:30 am
Sophomore: 11:00 am
Junior: 12:30
Senior: 2:00

Can my child play in a division below his age?
No, for safety reasons we do not allow players to play down a division. No exceptions.

Can my child play in a division above his age?
Yes, we allow kids to play up; however, it must be approved by our AD and the AD of TIFI.
